The Cast of Flower Boy Next Door

I don't know about you, but if I could land a sweet suite near these guys I would be the happiest girl on the planet.
Since we know the show is fake and no such place actually exists like it. I thought I would at least steer you to the silver lining: the boys are real. Not the characters, but the guys from Flower Boy Next Door are actual people. So I made it my mission, no my goal..... to go the the painstaking task of looking up information, pictures, and videos of the guys for you. It was a tough job... but someone had to do it.

I apologize ahead of time, if this post produces any heart attacks.

Yoon Shi-yoon

Or Enrique the genius, is actually Yoon Shi-yoon. Shi-yoon was actually born Yoon Dong Goo. He changed his name after being consulted by his agent before he entered college. His break out role was in King of Baking, Kim Takgu back in 2010. He earned the nickname "Study King Kim Learning" during the filming of FBND. It pokes fun at his previous role and the fact that he learned on set by books. He was always reading.  Just ask Park Shin Hye who said "Like a Word Addict, his hand never left a book. Whenever he is learning something, he learned it from a book."

Is he the Flower Boy for you?
Shi-yoon is a Libra, which is a sign that is ruled by Vebus. Meaning love is very important to him. Being a Libra he also enjoys an easy life without too much drama.  He has a degree in Majoring Arts. Which adds easily to his charm, allowing him to effortlessly converse about all things beautiful. His laid back style and a good book could appeal to you if you love to spend afternoons lounging with a new novel.

The boy can sing too.
This is from a live performance published by a fan on Youtube.

Kim Ji-hoon

The quiet boy who longs for love from afar is played by the talented and very handsome Kim Ji-hoon. he is a psychology major from Ajou University aspired to become an actor early on. He showcased his quick mind and smile on a plethora of Variety Shows such as : Hotline (as a VJ) and Sang Sang Plus Season 2. He served his military time and was released in July of last year. FBND, was his first project to put his face back out there.

Is he the Flower Boy for you?
Ji-hoon is a Taurus. The bull is always ruled by love and gives much love to a person they trust whole heartily. Once you have the trust of a Taurus they are loyal to you for as long as you are loyal to them. The Taurus is also the type who loves to settle down and has a certain sense of comfort with a routine. If marriage and kids are your thing, then this Taurus could be for you.

He can even make sunblock look sexy.

Go Kyung-pyo

Oh Dong-hoon the lady killer and trouble maker is portrayed by funny-man Go Kyung-pyo. Kyung-pyo got his start on Saturday Night Live Korea and has been spreading his acting wings since. He studied film at Konkuk university. A known jokester he laughs about how he looks like Siwon of Super Junior (see below).

Is he the Flower Boy for you?
He is a Gemini, and celebrates his 23rd birthday this year. Gemini's are tricky creatures, you know the whole split personality thing and all. Gemini's also have the intrigue to explore everything, which would explain his range of acting. So if you want to keep his attention, you have to have conversation and ideas that can keep him both entertained and intrigued.

His silly personality really shows in this short clip for South Korea's SNL. You have to love a guy that doesn't take himself seriously.

Kim Jung-san

Han Tae-joon is not a steady character on the series, but his face is unforgettable. He has the type of looks that you completely see what Dok Mi sees in him. He is kind, quiet and well, pretty. Kim Jung-san is the man behind the character. He hasn't really been in too many dramas, I expect him to show up in more. Which apparaently I am right about, because he has an appearance in That Winter the Wind Blows. He started in the musical Singles, and has done numerous ads for airlines and cosmetics. He mostly know for being a Daniel Henney lookalike.

Is he the Flower Boy for you?
Jung-san is a Pisces, the adaptive and compassionate sign. In order to keep him interested you need to be the dominant one in the relationship. Pisces need direction or they tend to focus on the past alone. Pisces are very loving, loyal and creative. So expect poems, little doodle and maybe a song from this guy. I love that the character that he plays is almost a Pisces-type too.

Kouki Mizuta

Watanabe comes alive thanks to Japan-born Kouki Mizuta. So the accent on the show is real. I have to admit, he was my favorite Flower Boy, it may have to do the cooking. Mizuta has starred in a handful of dramas, most of them J-dramas, that I unfortunately do not watch. He could change my mind. But then a whole lot of other problems will pop up. I'll have twice as many dramas to watch.... Sigh.

Is he the Flower Boy for you?
Born December 20th, our lovely Mizuta is a Sagittarius. Sagittarians are ruled by fire. They long to live a very good life, and are very naturally optimistic by nature. So not only will you have passion in a relationship with a Sagittarius, but you will have a constant ray of eternal sunshine from their happy-go-lucky ways.

See how talented and cute he is in this fan-made montage of some of his live performances.

  2. I can certainly understand Yoon Shi-yoon's attraction. Although Lee Min Ho seems to win popularity contests, I think Yoon Shi-yoon can give him a run for his money any day.

  3. All yielded enough for summer salads and winter drying. In a few of the other baskets, Mrs. Williams planted small-fruited red cherry, red and yellow pear, and yellow plum varieties of tomatoes. Since the deep containers held moisture for a long time, they did not require daily watering.Lotus meaning
