Kdrama Inspired Cocktails: Magical Potions Swap a Body Good

Are you thirsty? Would you love to have a strange out of body experience? Maybe swap bodies with the cute guy in your life and get into VERY awkward situations? Well you are in luck! Here is my recipe for a great elixir like the one that Gil Ra Im and Joo Won drink in Secret Garden.

Pineapple Juice and Cranberry Juice

Cherry Flavored Vodka
feel free to use whatever type you want. I am cheap and Burnett's is tasty
Raspberry Pucker
look at mah pucker-face, mah, mah pucker face

Elixir Recipe
1 shot Cherry Vodka
1 Shot Raspberry Pucker
2 Shots Cranberry juice
1 Shot Pineapple juice

Your beverage will look like this. Doesn't it look tasty?
It almost looks just like the one from the show, minus the flowers.
And you did not have to go all the way into the woods and talk to that weird lady.
I know I did!

Let me know if you have any recipes, how you liked this one, and if you would ever swap bodies with someone.

  1. Did you get into very awkward situations after finishing it? I am guessing it takes a few glasses for it to work lol.

My cousin watched that show and I saw bits and pieces of it. It was pretty funny.

    1. @Bianca

If by awkward situations you mean giggling like crazy person and slurring my words, then yes, yes I did. I welcome awkward, it fits me well.

I did however, strangely wake up in clothes that were not mine...

      Thank goodness for Tylenol.

  2. Ah! This is why your reviews are so awesome. Always thinking outside the box! :) From all the Secret Garden info I've gathered, never have I seen a drink potion recipe one. This drinks looks like something I would love to try. I have all the ingredients. I will let you know how I like it. I would not mind drinking it and waking up in Hyun Bin's body...I would love to be gorgeous and have that deep voice for a second or two ;)

    1. @Jade
I thought the drink was delicious. And I agree about Hyun Bin's voice, it's like butter. I love when they switched bodies! It was so believable, each actor, had the other characters movements down to a science. It was sort of amazing.
