Boys Over Flowers Review

It's that time again. Series review time! Another drama down and another video review too. Did I enjoy the show? Will I comment on Ji Hoo's weird pre-mustache-mustache? Will Kim Bum see this review and move to America to marry me? Only one thing will answer those questions: My review.
Me and Jun Pyo go through vats and tubs of Aquanet and BedHead.

I hope you enjoy my video review for Boys Over Flowers. Please be aware that there are spoilers. So I highly recommend finishing the series before you watch my review. You have been warned.
Pua hates spoilers!

Kick back, relax and enjoy listening to my Kentucky accent talk all about Kdrama. Hahahaha
Boys Over Flowers Video Review
If you have any questions, or would like to know more about what I thought about the series. Leave a comment. I love comments. They are almost as good as calorie free brownies. Both make me profoundly happy and neither one will make me fat. Score!

  1. April, you CRACK me up. I actually showed your vlog to one of my Korean students, and she was amazed that you liked kdramas so much. Boys Over Flowers will always rank up there for me, even though I know it wasn't the best. I can't wait to see what you think of Pasta (which I didn't really like) and Secret Garden (which I lurrrved). Have you ever seen Coffee Prince or My Name is Kim Sam Soon? Coffee Prince is my favorite kdrama ever. I'm watching Big and Gaksital (Bridal Mask) right now.

Also, I love your Oppa of the Moment feature. :) Keep these posts comin'!

    1. I have never seen Coffee Prince Or Kim Sam. But I will add it to my "TO WATCH pile". Big looks amazing.

I am glad to have made you laugh too. That's a relief. I was worried it was not a fun video at all.

I am super flattered that you showed my video off! Student? I am guessing you are a teacher. I better brush up on my vocabulary and grammar. I was nervous enough about it before, but now, I actually know a teacher. No more excuses. Hahaha Just kidding.

I love my Oppas. My favorite part is Googling their pictures. The results are always heart-melting.

  2. I like this! You are so funny. Your cat is so cute. I like the name too.
Lee Min Ho is one of my favorite Asian actors- AFTER I saw him with a different hair style. I loved him in City Hunter. Did you the pics I sent you for his new drama, Faith? I love his hair there :)

I second the suggestion of Coffee Prince and My Name is Kim Sam Soon. Those are also 2 of my favorite of all the ones I've seen. I looking forward for your reviews on City Hunter and Secret Garden. The latter is the one that solidified my addiction to KDramas.I really enjoy your blog, so please, keep 'em coming. Take care :)

    1. I am in love with LEE MIN HO! He is smoking hot in City Hunter. I am eating that series up! And his adorable face and gorgeous smile. He is sadly my desktop, and my Oppa. So cute. I need to watch Faith.

I will keep them coming!! As usual it is so nice to hear from you. Pua says hi!

Sometimes I wish I could put real life on pause and watch Kdrama all day. Alas, I am but a mere mortal.

P.S. I personally like spelling misteaks.

  5. Hey. New follower here :) My cousin just got me into Korean Drama's this year. This is the first one we watched and I loved it. I'm sure it is one I will watch again and again. I developed an obsession with Lee Min Ho. I haven't watched very many shows so I look forward to seeing your future posts and introductions.

Thanks! I love hearing from others who find themselves swept up in Kdrama, just like me. If you have not watched City Hunter, I highly recommend it. Lee Min Ho is super-kick-your-ass-sexy in that one. No more curly unmoving locks either. I am currently viewing it. So look forward to some posts about that too.

      :)

    2. I have started watching City Hunter. I love it. I am about half way through I think but it is a show I watch with my cousin and we are on summer break so I have to wait until classes start up again to finish it :( I thought he was pretty adorable in Boys Over Flowers but he is definitely sexy in City Hunter.

You have to watch BOF! It is so good. Ridiculously good. It is available on Hulu and Netflix if you have access to either of those sites. You can also purchase the DVD online as well.

Coffee Prince is one Kdrama that I have heard a lot about. I am going to have to watch it. I have not checked out Personal Taste yet. I am going to Google it as soon as I finish this reply. I have Kim Sam Soon on my to-watch list.

I am glad you like my reviews, I love writing this blog. :)

I am so happy to make new friends online too. I have no one here to discuss my Drama Addiction with either. Everyone usually does the "WTF"face, or asks , "You watch Korean Dramas? Why?". So when I hear from others, especially here on my Blog and MyDramalist.com, I get super pumped.

Lie To Me. Googling that too. Please keep in touch. I am also on twitter (@soycheese).

      :D

I am SO happy that you loved the show. It is still one of my favorites. I have been watching Kdramas for a while now, and BOF is still my First Love. Sigh.

      :)
